Concrete Pumpkin Candle with Lid

Concrete Pumpkin Candle with Lid is a small hand-cast concrete pumpkin with a scented candle poured inside. Set it on an autumn table, a windowsill or a shelf, lift the lid and light it. When the candle has burned down, the pumpkin stays as a lidded pot for small things.

Choose orange, graphite (dark grey) or white. All four colours, brown included, come together in the set of 4.

Lid:
Never put the lid on a burning candle. While the candle burns, set the lid aside on a heat-resistant surface. Put it back only after the candle is out and the wax has cooled.

Handmade:
Each vessel is cast by hand from concrete, so the shade, small pores and air bubbles vary from piece to piece and may differ from the photos. This is a natural feature of concrete, not a defect.

Care:
Concrete is porous: wipe it with a dry, soft cloth and do not put it in the dishwasher. Remove wax residue with a wooden stick once it has cooled. Use a mat under the pumpkin on delicate surfaces.

Safety:
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from curtains, paper, dry leaves, decorations, children and pets. Burn it on a stable, heat-resistant surface in a ventilated room, away from draughts. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use and do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. The concrete vessel gets hot while the candle burns: do not move it until it has cooled. Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains. Do not put the flame out with water.
