Candle Sand N° 06 Lavender Haze

Pour your own glass

Tap a colour to pour a layer. Every layer is one 250 g bag. Stack up to four, then put exactly those bags in your cart.

Your glass is empty. Pick a first colour.

    How it works

    1. Pour the sand into a heat-resistant glass, bowl or old candle jar, at least 5 cm deep.
    2. Cut 4 cm of wick and push it in, leaving about 1 cm above the sand.
    3. Light it. The sand around the wick melts into a small pool of wax.
    4. When it has cooled, lift out the hard wax, top up with fresh sand and add a new wick.
    Product description
    Shipping and payment

Candle Sand N° 06 Lavender Haze is wax in fine granules, in a light lavender with a soft pearl shimmer. Pour it into any heat-resistant glass, bowl or old candle jar, push in a piece of wick and light it. The sand around the flame melts and burns like any candle. When it has burned down, lift out the hardened wax, top up with fresh sand and light it again.

Use one colour for a calm table, or layer two or three in a clear glass for a striped candle. Try your layers in the layer studio.

    What you get

    • Candle sand N° 06 Lavender Haze in the size you choose, in a kraft zip bag
    • Cotton wick to cut yourself: 50 cm with 250 g, 100 cm with 500 g, 200 cm with 1 kg (about 12, 25 or 50 wicks of 4 cm)

    How to use

    1. Pour the sand into a heat-resistant vessel, at least 5 cm deep.
    2. Cut 4 cm of wick and push it in, leaving about 1 cm above the sand.
    3. Light it. The sand around the wick melts into a small pool of wax.
    4. When it has cooled, lift out the hard wax, top up with fresh sand and add a new wick.

    • Pour straight from the bag or use a spoon. The colour sits on the surface of the granules and can mark hands, fabric and porous surfaces.
    • Colours on screen can differ slightly from the real product.

    Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire. Use only a non-flammable, heat-resistant vessel on a stable surface. Keep wicks at least 5 cm apart and 3 cm from the vessel wall. Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Do not move the vessel while the wax is liquid. Not a toy. Not for consumption.

    Questions about candle sand

    What vessel can I use?

Any non-flammable, heat-resistant vessel: thick glass, ceramic, stone or metal. Do not use wood, plastic or thin glass.

How many wicks do I need?

One wick for a narrow glass. In a wide bowl, place several wicks at least 5 cm apart and 3 cm from the wall.

    Can I mix colours?

Yes. Layer them in a clear glass or pour them side by side in a bowl. Where the wax melts around the wick, the colours it touches blend.

    Is it reusable?

Yes. After each use, lift out the hardened wax, add fresh sand and a new wick. The unburnt sand stays in the vessel.

    Will the colour stain?

The colour sits on the surface of the granules, so it can mark hands and porous surfaces. Pour from the bag or use a spoon, and protect unsealed wood, stone and fabric.

Do you sell larger quantities for weddings and events?

Yes. Write to us through the wholesale page for bulk bags, custom colours and wholesale prices.
